Due to a recent surge in demand, particularly by middle-school and high-school-aged boys, and thanks to the generosity of Fr. Justin Wylie, we will now be offering altar server training for the Traditional Latin Mass on a monthly basis at the Cathedral of the Risen Christ on the third Thursday of every month at 7:30 PM.
In these training sessions, we will primarily focus on the High Mass (Missa Cantata) and its roles of Master of Ceremonies, Acolyte, Thurifer, Crucifer, and Torchbearer. This, however, does not exclude further training for the Low Mass and/or the Solemn High Mass.
Regular attendance for these is not compulsory, no experience is necessary, and attendance at these trainings have no commitment attached to it. Any Catholic man who has received his First Holy Communion is welcome!
Our first training session will begin on January 21st at 7:30 PM at the Cathedral.
